He is from everlasting,
Unto everlasting:
When there were yet,
No depths, nor heights,
He is, Almighty God;
Even from the beginning
Of His ways.
He led, in the way
Of righteousness;
In the midst of the path
Of judgment:
That He may cause,
Those who love Him,
To inherit life.
Therefore, my beloved;
Stay yourselves, and wonder;
On the Lord your God:
The soul-satisfying realities,
That abide forever;
Cannot be reached,
Through shadows that pass.
