There is a depth,
Of agony and lonliness,
In the sorrow
Of contrition ...
Reaching deeply
Into that secret place;
Which so seldom
Passes the lips.
Entombing life's essence;
In an inward grave,
Of crushed affections;
Annihalated hopes;
And severed ties.
