Outer darkness,
Is the final phase
Of His comsuming fire:
--Fire without Light--
--The darkness, visible--
--The Flame, black--
God has withdrawn
From the man,
But not lost His hold;
His face is turned away,
But His hand,
Is laid heavy upon him;
