To pray without ceasing,
To live a life of prayer;
Is an everliving repose,
In His loving arms:
It becomes the habit
Of the new heart;
The tone and tension,
Of the new nature.
Like the act of faith;
It is a whole life,
Devoted to action:
As deep calling unto Deep,
It is the walk of faith,
In its vital purity.
